Southern Resident orca populations have been declining for decades, and with the pollution of their waterways and the scarcity of their main food supply, their numbers are at a 30-year low.

As the chief executive of the EPA, Scott Pruitt is deconstructing the framework of regulations that protect our land, air and water – he’s even dismantling the very agency he leads. Urge Congress and the president to end Pruitt’s reign at the EPA.
The Trump administration’s proposal to open up oil and gas development along the Pacific Coast would intensify threats to orcas and quicken their extinction unless protective measures are adopted now. The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) was expected to update the orcas’ critical habitat in 2017 to include coastal waters off Washington, Oregon and California but that update never happened. Urge NMFS to stop delaying this necessary step to save orcas before it’s too late.

One in four species of sharks is already in danger of extinction. The U.S. must take a leading role in the fight to stop the slaughter by banning the trade of shark fins at the national level. Call on your members of Congress to support S. 793 and H.R. 1456, the Shark Fin Trade Elimination Act, and put an end to the U.S. commercial fin trade.

For many species, it would be the end of the road – and as a taxpayer, Congress and the administration expect you to foot the bill for its destruction. Tell Congress not to use your taxes to fund the end of the road for wildlife.
In its latest bid to sell out our public resources, the Trump administration recently announced its intentions to expose nearly all U.S. coastal waters to dirty and dangerous oil and gas exploration. Act Now: Demand that our marine wildlife and oceans be protected from destructive oil and gas drilling.
