Mexico Protects Sea Turtle Nesting Habitat

Although every sea turtle species on Earth nests on Mexico's beaches, the areas these endangered animals use on land has rarely been protected. Long ago, Defenders proposed new regulations for vital sea turtle nesting habtiat in Mexico, and has worked with officials there for years to promote them. Now, this proposal has become a reality, and nesting sea turtles and their hatchlings will find Mexico's beaches a safer place than ever.
